One Night at Markiplier's
A downloadable game for Windows
Markiplier falls asleep and finds himself trapped within the world of dreams, and it turns out Slendyman (NOT the trademarked Slenderman, I don't want to get sued) is behind it all! Use skills, summon friends, and fight your way through the dream world with either an axe, a spear, or a sword. Dozens of hidden secrets abound and multiple paths to one ending. Help Mark find his way home or he'll never make videos ever again!
The game features multiple Markiplier sound clips as well as a couple short videos. If you have any issues, feel free to email me at tetsuraryuuken@gmail.com.

Install instructions
- Download One Night at Markiplier's.exe
- Run the executable file
- Windows 10 might yell at you for trying to run an executable you found on the internet. Hit "More Info" on the popup and you should be able to continue.
- Select a location to install the game (It will create its own folder), then hit "OK"
- Wait awhile for the game to install
That's it! You're ready to play One Night at Markiplier's!
The full game contains a GameJolt Achievements API, but you don't need to worry about this as it doesn't affect gameplay in the slightest. Just hit "No" when it asks you if you want to login. =)
UPDATE: itch.io allows bigger files to be uploaded, so now you can download the entire game, no problem! If you run into any problems, make sure to let me know by commenting down below. I'll see if I can convert this from VX Ace to MV, but don't get your hopes up.
PS - Tweet at Mark if you want to see him play this, though I've already given up hope of that ever happening. =S

why does the squirrels summon sometimes stop the game?
It seems you are missing some assets. Did you download the RTP package with the base game? If so, I may have to replace them.
UPDATE: Itch.io allows bigger files now, so I've uploaded the entire game. You can copy your save files over to the new install folder and it should work without issue.GameJolt has all the files needed.
how can i save my game?
The big crystal in the middle of the fortress saves your game. If you are undertaking a trial, you will need to use a teleport scroll.
hey! so.. ive passed all trials, and I went to o the trial of fear and it said 'unable to find audio file wind , so I went outside the fortress and went to find slendy, and on my way to him it also said 'unable to find audio file wind' ….? and every time it says that the game crashes and exits :( wanted to finish it..
Super apologies for this! I'll look up my files and replace the RTP very soon!
In the meantime, try the GameJolt version HERE. If you install it somewhere new, you should be able to copy and paste your Save files and keep all your progress. Until then, I'll get this updated post-haste!
UPDATE - I've uploaded the correct file needed "Wind.ogg". I don't know why the RTP didn't include it. Just place it inside the Audio/BGS folder located where you installed the game. Sorry for the inconvenience this caused you!

hey! so, I cant find the file anywhere in my computer?
I tried downloading the gamejolt version too and he link doesn't work.. I tried typing gamejolt.com and it just does not load so im unable to get to it ?
hi! so i found another thing, right before the fight with dark it says 'missing file battle9' and ive scrounged around everywhere and all I can find is
battle1
battle2
and battle3???
It would be nice, but unnecessary. I made this before MV was released.
